Welcome to ASDA Superstore - Bishop Auckland, your convenient shopping destination located on South Church Road, County Durham. This bustling superstore is not just a place to fill your trolley; it's a food lover's haven where quality meets affordability.

One of the standout features of ASDA Superstore is its impressive range of products. Customers can find everything from Foster's Quality Lager Beer to tempting treats like Sour Patch Kids Fruit Mix. These bestsellers offer something for everyone, making it ideal for a night in or a casual gathering with friends.

  • Best Sellers: Foster's Quality Lager Beer (10 x 440ml) - £13.

As a food reviewer, the quality and variety of ASDA’s bakery items particularly struck me. The ASDA The Bakery Chocolate Cluster Mini Bites give a delightful twist to snack time, while the classic Warburtons Breakfast Muffins serve perfectly for your morning cravings.

However, it’s essential to mention that feedback on customer service has had its ups and downs at this location. While some patrons have praised the helpfulness of staff members like Stephen and Phil, other reviews indicate inconsistency, with experiences of unfriendly service noted by customers. It’s a reminder that while the products may keep you coming back, the shopping experience can significantly impact your overall visit.

In my opinion, ASDA Superstore - Bishop Auckland shines in its product offerings but continues to evolve in delivering a seamless customer experience. If you're in the area, it’s worth a trip to explore what’s fresh and available, even if you might want to engage your patience along the way.

Overall, whether you’re stocking up for a party or just picking up some everyday essentials, ASDA Superstore promises variety and value — with room for improvement in service delivery.

The store is fine, perhaps a little cluttered but on the whole it's ok.There's a woman on the checkout (Mona Lisa), she's so grumpy and miserable.I felt like she hated being there, she didn't speak to anyone, she never smiled, not even a tiny bit.I'm off elsewhere to do my big shop as she makes me depressed

Walked in the store did not have a £ coin for trolley so asked customer service to change × p so I could get a trolley . Was greeted with "I will do it this time but will be stopping it in the future" How about "Welcome to Asda your custom is important to us." A much better greeting. My response would be there are other food outlets in the town if I am refused a coin to get a trolley to do my shopping and dont sell trolley tokens then I will shop elsewhere from there on simple as that your loss not mine. There are many supermarkets don't charge for trolleys and don't need to greet customers in this way

Absolutely Amazing! Today I have noticed an elderly man struggling with a flat tier it was (dark outside)and I try to help him but,I'm a woman,so I didn't know much about hoq to changing a car tier, but Stephen (Asda's trolley organiser) came to the rescue along with Phil (Asda's Cleaner) . Big well done for this two members of staff .

Plenty of easily accessible car parking (although most of the paint markings could do with refreshing to make them easier to see).Large store with a reasonable layout, lots of variety and plenty of friendly & helpful staff. Some products do seem to have low stock or poor availability these days post-pandemic and since leaving the eu due to the negative impact on all aspects of the supply chain, but no worse than any other supermarket chain.
